Festive Cheer up and love sprinkles!
Maybe we all need to sprinkle a little more love in the world, restore the Christmas kid spirit, one that brings families and friends together. Keep it simple I say… this is a time for sharing love and laughter, memories and moments. A simple smile can change a person’s rhythm and redirect their purpose of intention.
Seeing the joy of children bursting at the seams with excitement and glee when opening their Christmas pressies, must be one of the greatest gifts of all. It’s not about the value, it is about the thought and the excitement the gift of giving creates.
Christmas is also a time for remembering those we have loved and lost, also a time for reboot. Often referred to as the season of joy, it is the perfect time to reconnect and balance relationships. You don’t have to be rich to be happy or have millions of friends to be complete. Peace and contentment begins within.
It's an exciting and abundant end to 2016!! We have just taken up an opportunity to be an ambassador and now have the dealership for Australia, and the UK for a large US Stand up paddle-board company and brand evolve boards.
The stand up paddle boards arrived to Fremantle Port last week, and as you can imagine there has been as much 'testing' time as possible since then! It's particularly exciting as I have been in love with these for a long while now. Practicing yoga on evolve boards is just an all in all beautiful experience and we are feeling totally grateful on this new exciting path.
The season is well and truly underway. We were at Maitraya Luxury Private Retreat in Albany last weekend with some SUP adventure and yoga classes on the private lake. The weekend before last we enjoyed a lovely private aerial/fly high class for a group in Torbay. A lovely husband had organised a full day of treat's for the group of friends and his wife (and it wasn't even a birthday!). Top marks and gold stars all around ha-ha!
We also recently ran a competition recently and have a winning couple who are looking forward to enjoy a winning voucher for a couple (or friends) stand up paddle adventure at Maitraya Retreat. We are so blessed in Australia with a never-ending array of epic beaches to discover. A recent fact I read was Australia has 10685 beaches. It would take 29 years to visit them all... who's coming ? ha-ha ;)

I leave you with a recipe for The Santa Slice! It's is a delightfully sweet combo of superfood's, important proteins and heart-healthy fats and is shared from the author of 'hippies in the city'.
300 grams Loving Earth organic white chocolate
3 T coconut oil
1⁄2 C Melrose Health cashew butter
1 C Honest to Goodness - Organic Food & Natural Food
1 C the unexpected guest gluten free muesli
1 C pure maple syrup
T vanilla bean paste
2 T pistachios
3 T dried cranberries
3 T goji berries
3 T Inca berries
3 drops Perfect Potion Noel essential oil blend
Melt the chopped white chocolate in a small saucepan over a low heat. Once melted, add in the cashew butter, coconut oil, vanilla and maple syrup and stir until combined. Pour the mixture into a shallow baking-tin, lined with baking paper and evenly scatter with the muesli, dried berries, shredded coconut, pistachios and essential oils. Stir evenly, ensuring all is thoroughly combined. Refrigerate for a few hours until the slice has hardened. Roughly chop the hardened slice into little bite-sized pieces and bag up in petite cellophane bags, include a lovely love note for the receiver, tie up to seal with red, green and gold ribbons and give with joy to your loved ones at Christmas time. To add to the ambience of the holiday season, make up a big batch of organic mulled wine. Feel free to sprinkle onto logs in the replace and onto your Christmas tree a combination of pine, cinnamon, orange, clove and nutmeg essential oils.
